Biodiesel plant to start test production in May

http://www.bbj.huЦko-Line will start test production at its Ft 3 billion biodiesel plant in Bбbolna (north-west Hungary) in May and full-scale production by the end of June, business development manager Gergely Novak said.
Цko-Line Hungary Kft was established to produce biodiesel. Its owners - Resonator Ltd., and KЙSZ Ltd. - have remarkable experience in the area of implementation of rig labors related to building-trade, implementation of trade-specialty, building engineering and technology, infrastructure and property development, protection of environment and communal innovation.
With an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons, the plant is Hungary's largest biodiesel facility. Production is expected to double to 50,000 tons as the result of Ft 2.5 billion of investments to be carried out starting in 2008. Цko-Line targets revenue of Ft 3 billion - 4 billion in 2007, though it expects to become profitable only in 2008, when it targets revenue of Ft 10 billion. Most of the biodiesel the plant produces will be purchased by Hungarian oil and gas company Mol Nyrt.
The plant will employ 35 workers at the start and 75 by 2008. Цko-Line joined to European Biodiesel Board as an associate member. EBB is a non-profit organization established in January 1997. EBB aims to promote the use of biodiesel in the European Union, at the same time, grouping the major EU biodiesel producers.
